Aamir Ali

Aamir Ali is an Indian actor and model born on 1 September 1981, a familiar face on Hindi television for more than two decades. He came up through modelling before landing his first screen role as Sameer Kaul in the long-running Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii.

His best-loved part is Inspector Bajrang Pandey in SAB TV’s comedy F.I.R., a role he played across the show’s long run and one that showed off his easy comic timing. He has also led serials like Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki and Kya Dill Mein Hai, and taken on reality shows including Nach Baliye.

Genial and durable, he has stayed a working television lead through many shifts in the industry. He was married to actress Sanjeeda Sheikh, with whom he has a daughter; the couple separated in 2021.
