Use our photos, free
Every photo and video on GaraMasalaFM comes from our own cameras in Mumbai. You can republish our photos on your site, blog or fan page for free. There is one condition, and we hold you to it.
The one condition
Give a visible credit that links to the story you took the photo from. Copy this line and place it under or beside the image:
Photo: <a href="STORY-URL">GaraMasalaFM</a>Replace STORY-URL with the address of the story on our site. A plain "Photo: GaraMasalaFM" with the link on the words is also fine. The link must be a normal, clickable link on the page where the photo appears.
What you may do
- Republish our photos on websites, blogs, forums and social media, with the credit above.
- Crop for layout, as long as the watermark stays visible.
- Use them commercially on ad-supported pages. The credit is the fee.
What you may not do
- Remove, blur or crop out the GaraMasalaFM watermark.
- Claim the photo as your own, or license or sell it to anyone else.
- Use our photos in a way that suggests the person pictured endorses your product or service.
Video
Video is not covered by this licence. If you want a clip, write to us first via any of our social accounts and we will usually say yes.
Short version: take the photo, keep the watermark, credit us with a link. If a photo appears without the credit we will ask once, nicely.
