Aasif Sheikh

Aasif Sheikh is an Indian actor born on 11 November 1964 in New Delhi, a four-decade veteran of Hindi television and film. He appeared in Hum Log, India’s first daily soap, and went on to a long career across serials and more than fifty movies, including Karan Arjun and Haseena Maan Jaayegi.

His signature role is Vibhuti Narayan Mishra in the sitcom Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain!, the scheming, perpetually broke neighbour that made him a household name. He has been recognised by the World Book of Records for playing hundreds of different characters within that single show, including dozens of female disguises.

Endlessly game and quick with a costume change, he has turned longevity into an art form. He is married to Zeba Sheikh, and the couple has two children.
