Ami Trivedi

Ami Trivedi is an Indian television and theatre actress born on 15 July 1982, the daughter of veteran Gujarati stage actor Tushar Trivedi. She grew up in and around the theatre and began appearing as a child artist in Hindi serials.

Her first real break was the lead in Kituu Sabb Jaantii Hai in 2005, and she went on to popular roles in Baa Bahoo Aur Baby and the drama Dil Se Di Dua… Saubhagyavati Bhava?. A neat piece of trivia: she voiced Daniel Radcliffe’s Harry Potter in the Hindi-dubbed first film of the series.

Warm and rooted in the stage tradition, she has moved easily between Gujarati theatre and Hindi television. She married Neeraj Sanghai in 2009.
