Aneet Padda

Aneet Padda is a 23-year-old Indian actress and emerging star in Hindi cinema who was born in Amritsar, Punjab. She studied political science and English at Jesus and Mary College in Delhi while building a modeling career in advertisements for major brands. Her acting career began with a brief role in the 2022 drama Salaam Venky alongside Kajol, but she gained wider recognition through the Amazon Prime series Big Girls Don’t Cry in 2024.

Padda’s major breakthrough came with her lead role in the 2025 Yash Raj Films romantic drama Saiyaara, directed by Mohit Suri and opposite Ahaan Panday. In the film, she played Vaani Batra, an aspiring lyricist, and received critical acclaim for her nuanced performance. The film became a major commercial success, grossing over 5 billion rupees.

Beyond acting, Padda is a singer and composer who wrote and performed the original track “Masoom” for Big Girls Don’t Cry. She has won multiple awards including Best Debut (Female) at the 2026 Zee Cine Awards and is recognized as one of Bollywood’s most promising new talents.
