Ashish Sharma

Ashish Sharma is an Indian actor and producer born in Jaipur, Rajasthan, the son of an IAS officer and a graduate of the National Institute of Fashion Technology. He came to television with an unusually varied resume and quickly found strong dramatic roles.

His breakthrough was the BSF officer Rudra in Colors’ Rangrasiya in 2014, followed by an acclaimed turn as Lord Rama in Star Plus’s devotional Siya Ke Ram. He has also led historical dramas like Prithvi Vallabh and Chandragupta Maurya, and won the dance contest Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa season 7.

Well suited to noble and period roles, he has balanced acting with producing meaningful cinema. He married actress Archana Taide in 2013, and the two run the production house Rachayita Films together.
