Ayesha Khan is the Mumbai-born actress who has spent the last few years being papped, gossiped about and gradually taken more seriously by an industry that first knew her as a Bigg Boss 17 wildcard. She began, like so many, as a junior artist before landing the villainous Birba in Baalveer Returns, then quietly built a Telugu-film résumé with Mukhachitram and Om Bheem Bush.

Her Bigg Boss run made her a tabloid fixture, largely thanks to a very public falling out with eventual winner Munawar Faruqui, whom she had dated before the show aired their grievances live. She has since been candid, sometimes testily so, about the price of that fame, publicly calling out paparazzi in Mumbai for crowding and heckling her outside her car.

On screen, 2025 marked her pivot toward mainstream Hindi cinema, with a widely noticed dance number in Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar and a role opposite Kapil Sharma in Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2. Between Bollywood debuts, Telugu supporting parts and a steady stream of Instagram content to her millions of followers, she remains one of Bigg Boss’s more durable exports.
