Banita Sandhu

Banita Sandhu is a British-Indian actress born on 22 June 1997, who studied at King’s College London before moving into acting. She made a memorable Hindi film debut opposite Varun Dhawan in Shoojit Sircar’s tender drama October (2018).

She reunited with Sircar for the National Award-winning Sardar Udham (2021), playing a mute young woman who witnesses the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. She has also worked internationally, appearing in the hit Netflix period series Bridgerton, and continues to move between Indian and Western productions.

Elegant and restrained, she has built a quietly international profile early in her career.
