Bharti Singh is an Indian comedian and television host born on 3 July 1984 in Amritsar, Punjab, widely called the “Queen of Comedy” of Hindi TV. She was raised by her mother after losing her father at two, and, in a detail few would guess, is a national-level archer and pistol shooter.
She broke through on the stand-up contest Comedy Circus, then became a fixture as the irrepressible Titli on The Kapil Sharma Show and a long-running host of India’s Got Talent. Her self-deprecating, big-hearted style made her one of the most bankable comics on television.
Loud, warm and impossible to dislike, she turned a hardscrabble start into one of comedy’s most durable careers. She married writer Harsh Limbachiyaa in 2017, and the couple has a son.
