Chunky Panday is an Indian actor born on 26 September 1962, a fixture of Hindi cinema since the late 1980s. He broke through with the hit Tezaab (1988) and stayed busy through the 1990s with films like Aankhen (1993), even enjoying a spell of genuine stardom in Bangladeshi cinema.
His career found a joyful second wind with the Housefull comedy franchise, where his bumbling Indo-Italian character Aakhri Pasta became a fan favourite across all five installments, the latest arriving in 2025.
He married Bhavana Khosla in 1998, and the couple has two daughters, including actress Ananya Panday. Decades in, he remains one of the industry’s most genially self-deprecating survivors.
