Darshan Kumaar

Darshan Kumaar is an Indian actor born on 1 September 1986 in Delhi, who built his craft the long way, through years of theatre and a decade training under Naseeruddin Shah at Motley Productions before films came calling.

He made his mark as Priyanka Chopra’s supportive husband in the biopic Mary Kom (2014), then took a striking turn as the antagonist opposite Anushka Sharma in the thriller NH10 (2015). He reached his widest audience with the hugely successful The Kashmir Files (2022), and is also known to streaming viewers as agent Sameer in The Family Man.

A dependable dramatic presence, he tends to be cast where a role needs weight and conviction.
