Gauahar Khan is an Indian actress, model and former pageant contestant born on 23 August 1983 in Pune, into a Muslim family, and the sister of actress Nigaar Khan. She began as a model, competing in Femina Miss India before moving to acting.
She built a film career with roles in Rocket Singh, Ishaqzaade and Badrinath Ki Dulhania, but reached her widest fame on television, winning the seventh season of Bigg Boss in 2013. She has since been a familiar reality-show host and judge.
Outspoken and glamorous, she has combined a steady film resume with a strong television presence. She married choreographer Zaid Darbar in 2020, and the couple has two sons.
