Gaurav Chopra

Gaurav Chopra is an Indian television actor born on 4 April 1979, a fashion-technology graduate who came to acting through kids’ shows and worked his way up to leading roles. His early parts included villains and supporting turns in serials like Aisa Des Hai Mera.

He is best known as the billionaire Raghuvendra in Colors’ long-running Uttaran, a seven-episode cameo that grew into a four-year role, and as an army captain in SAB TV’s military drama Left Right Left. He has also acted in the Hollywood film Blood Diamond and competed on Bigg Boss 10.

Tall, polished and reliably cast as the wealthy leading man, he has kept a long and varied screen career. He married Hitisha Cheranda in 2018, and the couple has a son.
