Gautam Rode is an Indian television actor born on 14 August 1977, who grew up between Delhi and Mumbai and built a long career on Hindi serials, both comic and dramatic. He was part of the popular ensemble comedy Baa Bahoo Aur Baby early on.
His best-known roles came in the 2010s: the title lead in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s period romance Saraswatichandra opposite Jennifer Winget, and Karna in the mythological Suryaputra Karn. He has also headlined the mystery drama Kaal Bhairav Rahasya.
Versatile across genres and reliably charismatic, he has stayed a working television lead for two decades. He married actress Pankhuri Awasthi, whom he met on the sets of Suryaputra Karn.
