Geetika Vidya Ohlyan

Geetika Vidya Ohlyan is an Indian theatre practitioner and actress born on 28 August 1991 in Haryana, who made one of the most assured film debuts of recent years. A Delhi University graduate rooted in the stage, she brought a raw naturalism to the screen.

She led Ivan Ayr’s Soni (2018) as a young Delhi policewoman confronting crimes against women, winning a Critics’ Choice Award for Best Actress after the film premiered at Venice. She has since appeared in the acclaimed series Delhi Crime and the Netflix Western Thar.

Grounded and intense, she is one of the most promising serious actresses to emerge from the streaming era.
