Harshad Chopda is an Indian television actor born on 17 May 1983 in Gondia, Maharashtra, and raised in Pune, an engineering graduate who became one of the small screen’s most awarded and adored leading men. He debuted in 2006 and steadily built a following.

He drew a devoted fanbase as Prem in Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil and Anurag in Tere Liye, then hit new heights with the tragic Aditya in Bepannaah and Dr. Abhimanyu in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. His mantelpiece holds seven ITA Awards, six of them Best Actor.

Intensely private and famously selective, he lets long gaps pass between roles and still commands enormous popularity. He guards his personal life closely.
