Harshita Shekhar Gaur was born on October 12, 1990, in New Delhi to a family of doctors. She is best known for playing Dimpy Pandit in the web series Mirzapur and for her lead role as Sanyukta Agarwal in the youth-oriented television show Sadda Haq.
She completed her engineering degree at Amity University, Noida, where she also participated in drama and creative societies. Her breakthrough came while still studying, when she was cast in Sadda Haq, marking her television debut.
Beyond acting, Gaur is a trained Kathak dancer and has performed in stage productions across India. She has appeared in multiple seasons of Mirzapur and other web series including Sacred Games and Falaknuma Das, establishing herself as a prominent figure in Indian television and digital content.
