Jameel Khan

Jameel Khan is an Indian actor born on 26 November 1974, a familiar and dependable character face across Hindi films and web series. He appeared in Anurag Kashyap’s sprawling crime saga Gangs of Wasseypur (2012) as Asgar Khan, and turned up in mainstream titles like Baby and Fan.

Wider affection came through the streaming era, above all as the gently exasperated Santosh Mishra, the head of the family in the much-loved series Gullak, a role that won him two Filmfare OTT Awards for Best Actor in a Comedy Series.

His warm, everyman presence has made him one of the quiet anchors of India’s web-series boom.
