Krishna Mukherjee

Krishna Mukherjee is an Indian television actress born on 12 August 1992 in Ludhiana, Punjab, who dreamed of being a choreographer and trained in dance in Delhi before acting found her. She debuted in Jhalli Anjali and youth-channel romances.

Her breakthrough was Aliya in Ekta Kapoor’s Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, a role she played from 2016 until the show ended in 2019 and which made her a familiar face. She later appeared in the Naagin spin-off Kuch Toh Hai and the serial Shubh Shagun.

A likeable supporting-to-lead presence, she built a steady television career off one long-running hit. She married Chirag Batliwalla, a Merchant Navy officer, in 2023.
