Lata Sabharwal made her debut in 1999 with Geeta Rahasya and became a familiar presence in Hindi television throughout the 2000s and 2010s. Best known for her role as Rajshri Goyel Maheshwari in Star Plus’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, she later appeared in its spinoff series Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke, establishing herself as a reliable television fixture.

Her work spans both television and cinema, with notable film appearances in Vivah and Ishq Vishq alongside steady television work on shows including Shaka Laka Boom Boom and Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki. She’s maintained consistent visibility across Hindi entertainment without chasing blockbuster status, building her career through reliable casting choices across multiple decades.

In 2009, she married fellow actor Sanjeev Seth, her co-star from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. The couple announced their separation in June 2025 after fifteen years of marriage, with Sabharwal making the announcement public on Instagram.
