Madalsa Sharma

Madalsa Sharma is an Indian actress born on 26 September 1991 in Maharashtra, the daughter of actress Sheela Sharma and producer Subhash Sharma. She studied English literature and trained in acting and dance before the screen.

She made her acting debut in Telugu film in 2009, but her defining role came on television as Kavya in Star Plus’s mega-hit Anupamaa, which she played from 2020 until leaving in 2024. The part made her one of the most recognisable faces on Hindi TV.

A film-family child who found her biggest fame in daily soaps, she built her name on a single landmark serial. She married Mahaakshay Chakraborty, son of actor Mithun Chakraborty, in 2018.
