Mahie Gill is an Indian actress born on 19 December 1975, who works across Hindi and Punjabi cinema and is admired for her fearless, sensual screen presence. She made a stunning Hindi debut as Paro in Anurag Kashyap’s Dev.D (2009), winning the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actress.

She built a run of strong, unconventional roles, from Anurag Kashyap’s Gulaal to Paan Singh Tomar, and anchored the acclaimed Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster series as the scheming, wounded queen Madhavi Devi. She has consistently chosen bold, morally complex women.

Intense and uninhibited, she carved out a niche few mainstream heroines dared to occupy.
