Malvika Raaj has been recognisable since she was a child, for about four minutes of screen time. She played the young Pooja in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham in 2001, which means she was the young Kareena Kapoor in one of the most watched Hindi films ever made, and a quarter of a century later people still place her from it.
She is the granddaughter of the actor Jagdish Raj, so the industry was never far away. She started modelling at 17, then came back to acting properly: supporting roles in Jaidev and Captain Nawab in 2017, and a lead as Aria in Squad in 2021.
She married the businessman Pranav Bagga in Goa in November 2023.
