Manav Gohil

Manav Gohil is an Indian television actor born in Surendranagar, Gujarat, who moved to Vadodara for a commerce degree and MBA, then to Mumbai after winning a state modelling title. He trained under Kishore Namit Kapoor and debuted in 2001.

He became a familiar face of the early soap era in Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii and Kkusum, then found a long second life as a fixture of the crime procedural CID and the historical comedy Tenali Rama. He has more recently appeared in Shaadi Mubarak and moved into film.

A steady, likeable character actor with a career spanning two decades, he has stayed consistently employed across genres. He married actress Shweta Kawatra in 2004, and the couple has a daughter.
