Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub

Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub is an Indian actor born on 17 May 1984 in Delhi, a National School of Drama graduate widely regarded as one of the finest supporting actors of his generation. He rose to prominence as Dhanush’s loyal friend Murari in Aanand L. Rai’s Raanjhanaa (2013).

He has since delivered scene-stealing work in Tanu Weds Manu Returns, the hard-hitting Article 15 and the political series Tandav, often playing spirited, principled or wounded men. In a career of more than 25 films he has become a byword for reliability.

Intense yet warm, he consistently elevates whatever ensemble he joins.
