Mohit Malik is an Indian television actor born on 11 January 1983 into a middle-class Delhi family. He made his television debut in Miilee and steadily built toward the roles that defined him.
He won acclaim, and a best-negative-role award, as the abusive husband Samrat in Doli Armaano Ki, then showed his range as the warm, musical single father Sikandar in Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala. The contrast between those two parts marked him as one of television’s more versatile leads, and he also won a season of Nach Baliye.
An actor equally convincing as a villain and a tender hero, he has kept a strong run of central roles. He married actress Addite Shirwaikar in 2010, and the couple has a son.
