Namit Malhotra is an Indian film and television producer and chief executive officer who built one of the world’s largest independent media services companies. Son of Bollywood producer Naresh Malhotra and grandson of cinematographer M. N. Malhotra, he came from an industry family with deep roots in Indian cinema.
As founder and non-executive director of Prime Focus Limited, Malhotra pioneered several technology firsts in Bollywood before expanding the company internationally. His subsidiary DNEG specializes in visual effects, animation, and stereo conversion for major film productions globally.
Beyond his executive roles, Malhotra produces films through Prime Focus Studios. He executive produced Brahmastra: Part One - Shiva and is currently in production on an ambitious adaptation of Ramayana in association with actor Yash’s production company Monster Mind Creations.
