Neeraj Kabi

Neeraj Kabi is an Indian actor born on 12 March 1968 in Jamshedpur, a deeply respected theatre and screen performer who runs his own theatre group, Pravah, founded in 1996. His film work is defined by intelligence and physical commitment.

He drew international praise as the ailing monk in Anand Gandhi’s philosophical Ship of Theseus (2012), and delivered a superb turn as a police officer in Meghna Gulzar’s Talvar. On streaming he became widely known through Netflix’s Sacred Games. He has won best-actor honours at international festivals.

Cerebral and meticulous, he is one of the finest character actors of the modern Indian screen.
