Nushrratt Bharuccha spent years as a dependable supporting presence in Luv Ranjan’s ensemble comedies, the Pyaar Ka Punchnama films and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, before deciding she wanted top billing and going out to get it. The name itself has shuffled spellings over the years, a numerology quirk she shares with plenty of the industry.
