Pratik Gandhi is an Indian actor born on 28 April 1980, who spent fifteen years building a career in Gujarati theatre and cinema before a single role made him a national name. That role was stockbroker Harshad Mehta in Hansal Mehta’s hit series Scam 1992 (2020), a performance that became a cultural phenomenon.
Before it he won a National Award-linked reputation with the Gujarati film Wrong Side Raju. Since his breakout he has moved into Hindi films with the ensemble comedy Madgaon Express and the romance Do Aur Do Pyaar, and continues to work on stage.
A patient, precise actor, he embodies the long-overdue overnight success.
He is married to actress Bhamini Oza.
