Radhika Madan

Radhika Madan trained as a dancer and became a familiar television face on a popular soap before making the leap most TV actors find hardest, into serious film. Vishal Bhardwaj cast her in Pataakha as one of two constantly-brawling sisters, and the raw, unglamorous performance immediately marked her out as more than a small-screen graduate.

She has since built a resume that leans toward the interesting rather than the obviously commercial, the offbeat action-comedy Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota, a warm supporting turn in Angrezi Medium opposite Irrfan Khan, and streaming work like Saas, Bahu Aur Flamingo. It is the filmography of an actress choosing craft over quick stardom.

A regular on the Mumbai event circuit, she is a steady and rising paparazzi subject. Our cameras have started to see more of her.
