Rajat Bedi is an Indo-Canadian actor, producer, and former model who emerged as a dependable performer in Hindi cinema and multilingual Indian films spanning Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada industries. Son of director-producer Narendra Bedi and grandson of legendary Urdu writer-director Rajinder Singh Bedi, he inherited a strong industry pedigree.
After his father’s death when Rajat was nine, financial hardship followed. At eighteen, filmmaker Prakash Mehra’s support helped launch his career under director Ramesh Sippy’s mentorship. He has built a diverse filmography since 1994.
Known for his impactful supporting roles, memorable negative portrayals, and strong comic timing, Bedi has carved a niche in action-entertainment productions across the region’s cinema landscape.
