Rajveer Deol

Rajveer Deol stepped into the Bollywood arena carrying some serious genetic credentials, grandson of Dharmendra, son of action veteran Sunny Deol, and nephew to Bobby Deol and Abhay Deol. Born in Mumbai in 1994, he pursued theatre studies abroad before returning to India to work as an Assistant Director, suggesting a methodical entry into the industry rather than a starlet-on-rails trajectory.

His debut came in 2023 with Dono, opposite Paloma Dhillon (daughter of actress Poonam Dhillon), marking another generational entry into Bollywood. Directed by Avnish Barjatya, the film positioned Rajveer as a romantic lead in a destination-wedding drama, a genre litmus test for newcomers with heavyweight family names.

Like many star kids, Rajveer faces the familiar task of establishing himself beyond the Deol surname. His acting foundation through theatre and behind-the-scenes work suggests he’s aiming for something more than mere celebrity inheritance, though one debut film remains a thin résumé on which to judge.
