Rakul Preet Singh

Rakul Preet Singh is an Indian actress and model born in New Delhi on October 10, 1990, to an Army officer and his wife. She studied mathematics at Jesus and Mary College before launching her career as a model while still in college. An accomplished golfer who competed at national level, she completed her schooling at Army Public School and maintains interests in martial arts and classical Indian dance.

She made her acting debut in the Kannada film Gilli in 2009 and has since established herself as one of the leading Telugu film actresses. Her breakthrough came through commercially successful Tamil and Telugu films including Venkatadri Express, Loukyam, and Sarrainodu, earning multiple Filmfare Award nominations for Best Actress in Telugu cinema.

Singh has appeared in numerous Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu productions, balancing work across multiple film industries. Beyond entertainment, she owns three gyms and has served as brand ambassador for social initiatives. She married actor Jackky Bhagnani in 2024.
