Raveena Tandon is an Indian actress born on 26 October 1972, one of the biggest female stars of 1990s Hindi cinema, who later reinvented herself as a serious dramatic actress. She became a top leading lady through commercial hits like Mohra, Dilwale and the cult comedy Andaz Apna Apna.

She surprised audiences by pivoting to acclaimed, weighty roles, winning a National Film Award for Daman (2001) and drawing praise for the psychological thriller Aks. In recent years she has thrived on streaming, notably in the hit series Aranyak. She holds the Padma Shri.

Glamorous yet fearless in her choices, she has enjoyed one of the most durable careers of her generation.

She married film distributor Anil Thadani in 2004.
