Richa Chadha is an Indian actress and producer born on 18 December 1986, admired for her fearless, scene-stealing character work. Her breakthrough came as the foul-mouthed gangster’s wife Nagma in Gangs of Wasseypur (2012), which won her the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actress.
She delivered a tender, acclaimed lead in Masaan (2015), became a comic favourite as Bholi Punjaban in the Fukrey franchise, and drew fresh praise in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s series Heeramandi. She runs the production house Pushing Buttons Studios with her husband, actor Ali Fazal.
Sharp and outspoken, she has consistently chosen bold, substantial roles.
She married Ali Fazal in 2022, and the couple has a daughter.
