Riddhi Dogra

Riddhi Dogra did not arrive by the usual door. Born in Delhi, she went to Apeejay School in Sheikh Sarai and read Psychology Honours at Kamala Nehru College, danced at the Shiamak Davar institute, and took her first industry job as a co-producer at Zoom. Acting came after all of that, not before.

Maryada: Lekin Kab Tak? put her on Star Plus as Priya and gave her the television audience. What she did with it since is the interesting part. Astha in AltBalaji’s The Married Woman and Nusrat in Asur are both roles with real weight, the sort that get handed to people the industry has decided can carry something difficult.

She has done the reality circuit too, Nach Baliye 6 and Khatron Ke Khiladi 6, which in Indian television is less a detour than a second career.
