Sana Makbul Khan, born June 13, 1993, in Mumbai, is an Indian actress and model known for her work in Hindi television and regional films. She made her TV debut in 2011 with Ishaan: Sapno Ko Awaaz Do on Disney Channel India, gaining wider recognition for her role as Lavanya Kashyap in the popular StarPlus series Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?
Her television career expanded with roles in Colors TV’s supernatural drama Vish as Dr. Aliya Kothari and her appearance in Khatron Ke Khiladi 11, where she reached the semifinals. She has also appeared in Telugu film Dikkulu Chooduku Ramayya (2014) and Tamil thriller Rangoon.
Makbul achieved mainstream recognition in 2024 when she won Bigg Boss OTT 3, streamed on JioCinema Premium with Anil Kapoor as host. The finale aired August 2, 2024, with Makbul defeating runner-up Naezy and claiming the Rs 25 lakh prize.
