Sargun Mehta made her screen debut in 2009 with 12/24 Karol Bagh after cutting her teeth in theatre during college. Her 2015 Punjabi film debut with Angrej marked a turning point, winning her the PTC Award for Best Actress and pivoting her career firmly toward Punjabi cinema.
