Soha Ali Khan has the most decorated lineage in the room and the least need to trade on it. Born in New Delhi in 1978 to the actress Sharmila Tagore and the former India cricket captain Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, and sister to Saif, she went to The British School, then read modern history at Balliol College, Oxford, and took a master’s in International Relations at the London School of Economics. That is not a filler CV, it is a serious one.
She came to acting in 2004, debuting in the Bengali film Iti Srikanta and, the same year, in Hindi with Dil Maange More. Rang De Basanti in 2006 is the film she is best known for, and it is a good one to be known for.
She married Kunal Khemu in Mumbai in January 2015 after an engagement in Paris, and their daughter Inaaya was born in 2017.
