Sumeet Vyas is an Indian actor, writer and director born on 27 July 1983 in Jodhpur, one of the pioneering faces of the Indian web-series wave. He broke through as the charming, commitment-shy Mikesh in TVF’s Permanent Roommates (2014), a role that helped define early Indian streaming comedy.
He co-wrote and starred in the popular TVF Tripling, and has taken supporting roles in films like English Vinglish, Parched and Veere Di Wedding. He also writes for stage and screen.
Witty and relaxed on camera, he helped make the everyday urban millennial a leading-man archetype.
He married actress Ekta Kaul in 2018.
