Suvinder Vicky

Suvinder Vicky is an Indian actor born on 4 March 1973 in Sirsa, Haryana, who worked patiently in Punjabi and Hindi cinema for decades before a single streaming role brought him national acclaim. He appeared in films like Udta Punjab and Kesari along the way.

His breakthrough came as the weary, conflicted policeman Balbir in the Netflix crime drama Kohrra (2023), a beautifully restrained performance that won him a Filmfare OTT Award for Best Actor. He had earlier impressed as the truck driver in the festival favourite Meel Patthar.

Quiet and deeply interior, he embodies the kind of overlooked talent the streaming era has rewarded.
