Tanmay Vekaria is an Indian actor and theatre artist born in Surat, Gujarat. He is the son of legendary Gujarati drama actor Arvind Vekaria and grew up in a theatre family, which shaped his artistic aspirations from childhood.
He made his television debut in 2008 with the Hindi sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, where he plays Bagha, a young delivery boy. The role became his signature character and earned him widespread popularity. He has also appeared in other shows including Dhoondte Reh Jaoge and made his Gujarati film debut in Samay Chakra - Time Slot in 2017.
Vekaria is married to Mitsu Vekaria and has two children. He is recognized for his comic timing and ability to bring characters to life, earning an Indian Telly Award in 2019 for Best Ensemble with the cast of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.
