Veer Pahariya arrived in 2025 opposite Akshay Kumar, which is not a soft landing. Sky Force, directed by Abhishek Anil Kapur, cast him as an Air Force officer for his debut, and the film gave him the sort of visibility most newcomers spend a decade chasing.
The lineage is political rather than filmi. He is the son of the businessman Sanjay Pahariya and the producer Smruti Shinde, and the maternal grandson of the veteran politician Sushilkumar Shinde. He has been fairly pointed about wanting to be known for the acting rather than the surname.
Usefully, he did not start at the front. He worked as an assistant director on Bhediya and developed under Dinesh Vijan’s mentorship before taking a lead, which is a more honest apprenticeship than most star kids bother with.
