Vijay Varma is an Indian actor born on 29 March 1986 in Hyderabad, a Film and Television Institute of India graduate who has become one of the most exciting character leads of the streaming age. He drew early notice in Pink (2016).
He earned a Filmfare nomination for his dual role in Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy (2019), then built a run of layered, often unsettling performances in Darlings, the crime series Dahaad and Mirzapur. He has shown a particular gift for playing charming men with darkness underneath.
Fearless in his choices, he has emerged as a critics’ favourite and a genuine leading man.
