Vivek Anand Oberoi

Vivek Anand Oberoi burst onto the scene with Ram Gopal Varya’s 2002 crime thriller Company, a performance that landed him Filmfare Awards for both Best Male Debut and Best Supporting Actor. The actor, son of veteran Suresh Oberoi, had studied abroad including time at NYU where he earned a Master’s in film acting after being spotted at a London workshop.

From there, Oberoi built a reputation for tackling diverse roles across romance, comedy, horror, and action. He anchored Saathiya alongside Rani Mukerji, brought comic timing to Masti, survived Kaal’s supernatural threats, and anchored Shootout at Lokhandwala. He’s also appeared in the Krrish franchise, proving his bankability across multiple genres.

Beyond cinema, Oberoi has carved out a secondary identity in philanthropy and social causes. He serves as a WHO spokesperson against tobacco and has supported relief efforts following natural disasters, earning accolades from Rotary International for his humanitarian work.
