Manoj Bajpayee just dropped our favorite TV take of the week. The actor recently jumped to defend Samay Raina and Sharon Verma’s cheeky banter on India’s Got Latent 2, and honestly, his logic is absolutely bulletproof. The kind of statement that makes you sit back and think: yes, exactly.

According to reports circulating in the Indian media, Bajpayee made the case that comedy shows kind of need, you know, actual comedy. Novel concept for some, apparently. The Family Man star apparently watched the scrutiny land on the show’s dynamic and decided someone needed to speak up in defense of the bit.

His argument is refreshingly straightforward: entertainment, especially comedy, requires room to breathe, to tease, to play. It’s the oxygen that keeps a show alive. Playful banter gets people invested, sparks conversation, creates those moments that make viewing unmissable. Bajpayee’s basically articulating what fans already know to be true.

Our radar is locked on this one.
