Another departure, another set of lenses waiting at the terminal, and Sonal Chauhan handled it the way she handles most things, without breaking stride. She has moved between Hindi and Telugu cinema for most of her career.
She arrived on the back of Jannat in 2008, the Emraan Hashmi romance that gave her an instant profile, and went on to Size Zero and Ruler in the south, plus 3G opposite Neil Nitin Mukesh. A former beauty-pageant winner, she has kept a foot in modelling throughout, which shows in the way she reads a camera.
The airport frame was short and composed, sunglasses doing the work, no interest in stopping for a chat.
