Ali Fazal is an Indian actor born on 15 October 1986 in Lucknow, one of the few Hindi film actors to build a parallel career in Hollywood. He first caught attention with a small role in 3 Idiots (2009) and the Fukrey comedies, then broke through as the volatile Guddu Pandit in the hit crime series Mirzapur, which became his signature role.
Internationally he appeared opposite Judi Dench in Victoria & Abdul (2017) and joined the star-studded cast of Kenneth Branagh’s Death on the Nile (2022). He runs his own production house, Pushing Buttons Studios, with his wife, actress Richa Chadha, whom he married in 2022. The couple welcomed their first child, a daughter named Zuneyra, in 2024.
He continues to move between Indian streaming projects and global productions.
