Plenty of people still picture Avika Gor as Anandi, which tells you how hard Balika Vadhu landed. She was a child when that show made her a household name across the country, and Sasural Simar Ka kept her there through her teens. Then she did the smart thing and rebuilt in Telugu cinema, on her own terms, as an adult actor rather than the kid everyone remembered.

That double audience is why a simple sighting still draws a crowd of lenses. Two generations of viewers claim her.
